Eric Reid will suit up

Eric Reid will play and have an impact. This is my top prediction only because there is still some doubt as to whether he will suit up. However, you do not get a player of his caliber and have him sit on the bench. In particular, the safety position for the Carolina Panthers has sprung a few leaks over the past couple of weeks.

In terms of statistics, I could see him getting at least two tackles. He would be more apt to break up passes. Particularly with the weapons the Giants possess at the wideout position, the Panthers would have to use him more in coverage. I could certainly see him stopping a few breakout running plays however, particularly with Saquon Barkley leading the charge at the running back position. Reid would be the last line of defense (quite literally).

Reid has a chance to be a tremendous addition to the Carolina Panthers defense. What better way to get him indoctrinated into the fold than a game coming off a bye week? When he is on the field, he has a chance to make plays and make an impact. We saw it especially during his time in San Francisco and we should see it as a member of the Panthers. It should be fun to watch.
