Graham Gano

This one seems kind of obvious, right? Graham Gano was the man Sunday, and he proved that special teams are a crucial part of the game. Being consistent is something he has been doing his whole career, and he does not appear to be slowing down anytime soon.

Gano made four field goals on Sunday, all from quite a distance. He hit one 39-yarder, two 47-yarders, and one from 63 yards out to seal the deal. He made all of his four field goals and all three of his extra points for a total of 15 points. He was money when it mattered and he showed that he is one of the Carolina Panthers’ top weapons.

He is No. 2 behind the great John Kasay in field goals made with 42 (Kasay has 118) and is also second in extra points with 225. Gano is a modern-day Panthers legend and I am excited to see what he can do next week.
