Keep McCaffrey Going

More from Cat Crave

Running back Christian McCaffrey has enjoyed a strong start to the season for Carolina and it needs to continue for them to win in Washington. As stated, Newton needs a clean pocket in order to be effective through the air and if unavailable then leaning on McCaffrey to carry the load will be key.

Last week Saints running back Mark Ingram scored twice on the ground and had a nice 28-yard gain through the air setting up a touchdown on their opening possession. If McCaffrey can provide similar results then the Panthers should be successful.

Already one receiving touchdown away from tying prominent Panthers running backs Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams for most all-time (7), McCaffrey has proven he can impact the game in a variety of different methods. Continuing to do so only helps the Panthers offense.
