Carolina Panthers guide to Week 7 at Philadelphia Eagles
The Carolina Panthers travel to Philadelphia for their Week 7 matchup with the Eagles.
The Carolina Panthers have played just two road games in six weeks and neither ended well. After losing at divisional rival Atlanta, the Panthers dropped another at Washington last week. Looking to regroup, Carolina visits the defending Super Bowl champion, Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
A tough matchup, Carolina needs a win to keep from falling back to 3-3 and stay within striking distance of the New Orleans Saints. With plenty of football left to play and five of six divisional games coming later in the season, the Panthers can challenge for the divisional title by finding a way to win some games on the road in addition to maintaining their current home win streak.
Philadelphia is 3-3 already, suffering narrow defeats at Tampa Bay, Tennessee, and against Tampa Bay. Quarterback Carson Wentz, who didn’t play until Week 3, has seemingly picked up where he left off last year before suffering a knee injury which sidelined him with three regular season games remaining last season.
