Solid Perimeter Defense

Flacco has been solid in the passing game and is gaining confidence in his wide receivers. Carolina has been susceptible to the tight end and Baltimore has a weapon in rookie Hayden Hurst but the Ravens will likely lean on their veteran outside group.

For Carolina to win they need solid play from cornerbacks James Bradberry, Donte Jackson and safeties Mike Adams, Eric Reid. This group has been the weakest point of the roster for some time but is gaining confidence and improving the more they are on the field together.

Reid has improved each game and this unit will be tested by Flacco, Willie Snead, Michael Crabtree and John Brown on the outside. Pass breakups and perhaps a turnover would limit the Ravens ability to move the football and could change the momentum.
