Ron Rivera – Most Wins

Ron Rivera began his career under former owner Jerry Richardson and earned his first NFL victory with a Week 3 win over Jacksonville during the 2011 season. The first of just six that year, Richardson stuck with Rivera and the results followed.

Three straight divisional championships (2013-15), a near perfect season (2015), four playoff appearances (2013-15, 2017) and the second-ever franchise trip to a Super Bowl (2015) all occurred under Rivera’s watch. Richardson is no longer the owner, but David Tepper elected to stick with both general manager Marty Hurney and Rivera even after a seven game slide late last season.

While no one knows what the future holds, on Sunday Rivera earned win No. 74 becoming the winningest coach in Panthers history. Passing John Fox (73), Rivera earned the title in nearly the same time frame although Fox’s ninth season was his last.
