Amik Robertson – CB (Louisiana Tech)

Amik Robertson is a high-character cornerback who plays with a ferociousness that is going to go down extremely well with NFL scouts. He has a high ceiling and could become a productive slot cornerback at the next level if given time to develop.

The prospect enjoyed a tremendous three-year stint in the college system with the Bulldogs. Robertson was immense in coverage and recorded 14 interceptions during his career.

His 179 total tackles are a testament to his competitive instincts and ability to finish off plays well. The player also possesses good versatility and can operate either in man or zone coverage efficiently.

There is a lot to like about Robertson’s potential when he enters the pros. He is tremendously competitive and his anticipation is another standout feature of his overall influence on the field.

Robertson is also a substantial presence against the run. He does lack a bit on the size front and this might limit him to a nickel role rather than getting exposed on the outside.

The Carolina Panthers are in desperate need of some depth at cornerback and having someone like Robertson to help in various situations could be a massive benefit to have. He leads by example and will fit in well in a locker room that has lost some influential figures during the offseason.
