Wide Receiver. LSU. player. Draft Profile. JustinJefferson. 21. 54. Scouting Report

The biggest area of need on the roster for the Philadelphia Eagles finally gets addressed with the No. 21 overall pick. The Eagles draft wide receiver Justin Jefferson out of LSU and wow, are they getting one heck of a football player.

Jefferson is all about making plays out of nowhere and doing his best to keep defensive backs on their toes unable to guess what is coming next. In three years at LSU, Jefferson totaled 2,415 receiving yards, 165 receptions, and 24 touchdowns. Best of all, Jefferson totaled 14.6 yards per catch.

The production that the Eagles’ offense will get out of Jefferson will be a great sight to see this upcoming season. He’ll make an immediate impact to the point where he will easily become a fan favorite. Fans should expect flashy receiving plays out of him on a daily basis because he is the real deal.

Alabama. TrevonDiggs. 60. Scouting Report. Draft Profile. Cornerback. 22. player

Talk about an ironic situation, eh? Yes, they’ll be another Diggs on the roster of the Minnesota Vikings as Trevon Diggs is indeed the younger brother of Stefon Diggs who was just traded this offseason. The good news is, the Vikings will be able to add a high-quality cornerback to the mix that can step right in and take care of business.

At 6-1 and 205lbs, Diggs has a plethora of starting experience and spent four years under the wisdom of Nick Saban’s defensive ways. Not only is Diggs ready for the primetime but he has the makings of a future star cornerback.

Thanks to having experience as a wide receiver, it’s a huge advantage to have as a defensive back as he has used these attributes to much success in to keep receiving options in check. He’s as physical as they come and has more than enough potential to create his own legacy on a team that his older brother, unfortunately, leaves behind.

TuaTagovailoa. 23. Scouting Report. Alabama. player. 47. Draft Profile. Quarterback

Was it Brady? Was it head coach Bill Belichick? The argument is still going strong on what truly caused all the major success of the New England Patriots but for argument’s sake, let’s just go with it’s Belichick.

Life without Brady under center for the Patriots came hard and fast this offseason but no worries as Belichick knows he’s a quarterback whisperer and will have no problems taking a chance on quarterback Tua Tagovailoa of Alabama. The possibilities are endless as Tagovailoa has all the traits needed for major success at the pro-level.

When healthy, many have argued that Tagovailoa is indeed the best quarterback in this year’s draft. Unfortunately, we’ve only seen glimpses of what he’s capable of doing when healthy but Belichick knows when a special athlete comes along that is absolutely worth taking a flier on. After all, we all know what he did with a certain sixth-round draft pick many moons ago.
