Carolina Panthers strongest position (No. 1): Wide receiver

– D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson, Curtis Samuel, Keith Kirkwood, Pharoh Cooper, Seth Roberts, Brandon Zylstra, Omar Bayless, TreVontae Hights, Damon Jeanpiere Jr., Ishmael Hyman, DeAndrew White.

One has to go back a long way to think of a deeper wide receiver group for the Carolina Panthers. This unit has the right mixture of game-changing players and those that can assist in reduced roles. Add to this new offensive coordinator Joe Brady’s desire to get the ball down the field. And their ceiling is enormously high.

D.J. Moore has superstar written all over him. He is coming off his first 1,000-yard season and has the potential to get even better with a more consistent presence distributing him the ball. This could result in a first trip to the Pro Bowl and he will be the No. 1 option in 2020 and beyond.

He will be significant support on the opposite side of the field in Robby Anderson. The free-agent signing comes into the organization with plenty to offer. And he has worked with head coach Matt Rhule before during their time together at Temple.

Curtis Samuel is coming off a career season in 2019 and is set to see plenty of time in the slot next time around. This is a pivotal campaign for the player and one that could result in a big payday once his rookie deal expires.

Wideouts such as Seth Roberts, Pharoh Cooper, Keith Kirkwood, and Brandon Zylstra will also be looking for a spot on the rotation. And there is plenty to like about the talent Omar Bayless brings to the table despite the former Arkansas State product going undrafted.

The wide receivers should get plenty of opportunities to reach their promise. And there will also be space aplenty thanks to the presence of Christian McCaffrey in the backfield.
