Carolina Panthers vs. Raiders: Weather forecast

Conditions should be perfect when the Carolina Panthers take the field at Bank of America Stadium for the Week 1 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. This is always a warm climate at this time of year in Charlotte and today promises to be no different.

According to Weather.com, temperatures will start at 78 Degrees Fahrenheit with sun and clouds at the start of the clash, rising to 83 as the contest progresses. Having no fans in the stands might mean that this won’t be much higher on the field, although the heat is going to be a big say on conditioning for both teams.

The first game of the season is always a war of attrition as players get up to speed from a conditioning perspective. Who has trained better during the offseason might well have the upper hand. But both will be feeling the pace, especially late on.

There is a 15 percent chance of rain throughout the contest, which would complicate matters for both passing attacks. The kicking units should have no trouble dealing with any wind issues, which are not expected to be above 4-5 miles per hour at any stage.

The Panthers are going to have no excuses as far as the weather is concerned and they will play in far worse this season, of that there is little doubt.
