Carolina Panthers vs. Saints: Prediction

One expected the Bears to keep it pretty close against the Packers on home soil, which means bad news for the Carolina Panthers. The longer Green Bay’s status as the No. 1 seed is in doubt, the longer Sean Payton will leave in his key starters.

That won’t worry the Panthers, who cannot control this situation.

What they can do is control the tempo of the game by running the ball efficiently and giving Teddy Bridgewater plenty of opportunities to showcase what he has to offer before an offseason of speculation regarding his future.

We will air on the side of caution with this prediction.

Although this is one of the more unpredictable outcomes for the Panthers in 2020 despite the differing records of both teams.

If Carolina can pick up another unlikely victory, it will be another considerable shot in the arm from a momentum standpoint ahead of an extremely important few months for the franchise. Matt Rhule deserves an exceptional amount of credit for the way he’s conducted himself this season. But he will not be getting a pass for his record next time around.

Prediction: Carolina Panthers 27, Saints 30.

This is sure to be a tight affair, which can be said for most Carolina games this season. But if the Saints are in with a chance of locking up the No. 1 seed, it should see them emerge victoriously.
