5 Panthers players whose stock rose at mandatory minicamp in 2021

Robby Anderson – Carolina Panthers WR
He’s back.
Robby Anderson made his triumphant return to Charlotte for the mandatory portion of OTAs, which was a welcome relief for those that worried about whether or not there was anything more to his absence.
He is a veteran that knows how to get ready for the season. So missing voluntary workouts isn’t that big of a deal.
Anderson looked fit and firing on all cylinders from the moment he stepped onto the field according to the media in attendance, wasting little time in reigniting his relationship with quarterback Sam Darnold.
The duo is now free from the dismal surroundings of the New York Jets, working together in a far more dynamic scheme than they were ever afforded at MetLife Stadium. Anderson and Darnold had some really nice moments during minicamp and the wideout stated in a presser that he sees more of a swagger to the signal-caller in Carolina.
One thing is for sure, the Panthers and Darnold need Anderson at the top of his game in 2021. There is also plenty at stake for the player on the final year of his deal, with another productive campaign set to come with a massive payday that Carolina might not be able to afford.
That is way down the road. What’s important now is that the Panthers make the most out of Anderson while he’s still on the roster and nobody will benefit more from his presence than Darnold.
