David Tepper’s update on Carolina Panthers Rock Hill HQ

Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper was all smiles during Fan Fest. It’s been a long time since the billionaire had anything truly to celebrate from a football perspective.

Despite the recent financial challenges across the league, Tepper remains its richest owner and this has allowed Carolina’s new headquarters in Rock Hill to progress as planned, even though the expected completion has been pushed back slightly until 2023.

Tepper provided an update on what he envisages the facility to look like, which only whet the appetite further.

"“It’s going to be something to see. It’s going to be something to see. If you like Avengers, it’s gonna be like Avengers HQ.”"

Looking at the artist’s depiction, it’s not hard to see why.

Pretty similar, if nothing else.

Tepper has some ambitious plans for the Panthers. He wants them to become an industry leader both on and off the field at the earliest possible opportunity, something that’s brought about some significant changes since the team was purchased from Jerry Richardson.

Of course, winning is all that matters to fans.

Carolina hasn’t been in the red to finish a season since 2017. Now Tepper has all his guys in key positions of power, he’ll want to start seeing a return on his substantial investment.
