3 winners and 3 losers from Panthers loss vs. the Eagles in Week 5

Sam Darnold – Carolina Panthers QB
It’s now been two straight weeks of poor throwing performances for Sam Darnold.
After having just one interception in his first three games with the Carolina Panthers, Darnold now has five in the past two weeks, including three against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
To his credit, Darnold was once again under tons of distress thanks to his offensive line. But he had three very poor interceptions that could’ve been avoided.
Two of the interceptions were by Philadelphia cornerback Darius Slay, and the final came under the two-minute mark in the fourth quarter when Darnold was trying to give Carolina one final scoring drive.
There were some underthrown balls to receivers that arguably should’ve been caught and Darnold just looked like the indecisive signal-caller that we were used to seeing while with the New York Jets.
It was by far the worst game Darnold has had with the Panthers. In order to show why he deserves to be the team’s franchise quarterback, he can’t have any more games like this.
