Daniel Jones – QB

We’ll start with the opposing team’s quarterback once again this week and the New York Giants have a Charlotte-native in Daniel Jones.

Jones is in Year 3 of his professional career and has actually had a bit of a breakout season in New York despite a struggling offensive line.

Before suffering a concussion in Week 5 and then having an awful three-interception game last week, Jones was playing like one of the better quarterbacks in the league and had the least amount of picks across the NFL.

That obviously changed after his performance against the Los Angeles Rams. But he’ll be relied on heavily with Saquon Barkley, Kadarius Toney, and Kenny Golladay all likely out.

Not only does Jones have deep-play ability but he can run. He actually leads the Giants in rushing with 201 yards and has two rushing touchdowns.

After allowing Kirk Cousins to go crazy with deep throws and plays, the Carolina Panthers have to make sure they get the bad Jones and not the good one we’ve seen so far this year.

If the Duke product struggles, it’s almost a guarantee New York will lose.
