D.J. Moore – Carolina Panthers WR

While the call was certainly questionable, D.J. Moore’s issues with drops continued as he failed to hang on to what should have been an 11-yard touchdown. Other than that, the wideout brought in four passes for 59 yards which put him at 9.90 fantasy points on the day.

The Carolina Panthers will certainly need Moore locked in to be successful against the New England Patriots.

Start and Sit in Week 9?

Buyer Beware.

I don’t expect the passing game to be prominent no matter who’s behind center, so it may be a quiet day even for Moore. I’m not sure there will be enough targets to justify starting him although he should get the most among pass catchers.

Robby Anderson – Carolina Panthers WR

Robby Anderson’s fantasy value continues to take a dive and rightfully so. In Atlanta, the wideout only got one target and was rocked as he tried to catch the pass.

We applaud his toughness, but Anderson’s future on fantasy rosters is looking bleak.

Start and Sit in Week 9?

SIT.

Despite his lack of production, Bill Belichick will be the last person to take Anderson for granted. It shouldn’t take much but expect New England to make sure the former New York Jet doesn’t have a good day.

Carolina Panthers TEs

This will come as a surprise to no one but Ian Thomas and Tommy Tremble weren’t heavily featured against the Falcons. The pair combined for four catches and 28 yards.

Start or Sit in Week 9?

SIT.

New England is the third-best team against tight ends in fantasy this year and the Panthers don’t really use players at the position prominently. Although, a red zone trip or two might be the path for either Thomas or Tremble to secure an above-average day in fantasy.
