Keith Taylor Jr. gains his first Carolina Panthers INT

It’s been a nice surprise to see Keith Taylor Jr. so heavily involved during his first season with the Carolina Panthers. The fifth-round pick has certainly acclimatized well to NFL life and there should be plenty more reps coming his way after Donte Jackson was placed on season-ending injured/reserve during the bye week.

This is a challenge Taylor is sure to relish. The Washington product has done well in the face of some quality opposition and the Panthers look to have a real draft steal on their hands judging by early efforts.

The Atlanta Falcons still don’t have Calvin Ridley. But quarterback Matt Ryan can still make things happen in the passing game if afforded enough time in the pocket.

Taylor will need his wits about him whenever he’s on the field. Especially considering the Falcons now have a dynamic dual-threat presence coming out of the backfield in Cordarrelle Patterson to be wary of.

The first-year pro has demonstrated tremendous maturity so far. If a potential increase in reps brings about further impressive production, then a first career interception in Week 14 for the impressive Taylor is not out of the realm of possibility.
