Haason Reddick – Carolina Panthers OLB

Before you get mad seeing him on this list, Haason Reddick isn’t here because of his performance. Not entirely, at least.

It wasn’t a great day for Reddick as he compiled just three total tackles. Unfortunately, he was unable to capitalize on getting two more sacks to earn a $1 million bonus for reaching 13 quarterback takedowns this season.

Reddick finishes his first year with the Carolina Panthers on 11 sacks and will be a highly coveted free agent this offseason after signing a one-year, prove-it deal this past free agency. Hopefully, an agreement can be reached to keep the former first-round pick out of Temple around.

Had Reddick not been signed, who knows if the Panthers would have even reached five wins. He has been such a huge addition to the team that it’s unfortunate he wasn’t able to get just two more sacks at some point this year for that bonus.

That being said, Reddick is sure to cash in this offseason and if the Panthers had any sense, they would move heaven and earth to ensure he’s a part of their long-term plans.

Whether it’s in Carolina or not, he’ll be getting a big payday this offseason. And losing him to another team is not an option.
