4 Carolina Panthers players that must be re-signed urgently this offseason

Haason Reddick – Carolina Panthers OLB
After signing a one-year, prove-it deal with the Carolina Panthers last offseason, Haason Reddick became one of the biggest impact players on defense and earned himself a large deal in the coming weeks.
Whether it’s with the Panthers or not, Reddick will get his money’s worth, but general manager Scott Fitterer should do everything he can to make sure it’s in Carolina.
Reddick led the team with 11 sacks and was arguably the MVP of the defense. Lined up alongside Brian Burns, the Temple product certainly brought out the best in the young defensive end and proved that his breakout year with the Arizona Cardinals two seasons ago was no fluke.
If the Panthers can manage to bring Reddick back on a worthy but not extremely rich deal, that would be a win. However, Fitterer is likely going to need to open up his checkbook to keep him around, and with little breathing space financially right now, it could be a big challenge keeping the veteran happy.
If Reddick walks, there will be another glaring hole on the defense and that is something Carolina can’t afford. The player has outlined a desire to stay, but it’s not always that simple, unfortunately.
