7 prospects on offense Panthers should watch at 2022 Scouting Combine

Carolina Panthers should watch Kellen Diesch
As stated previously, the Carolina Panthers are desperate for more stability on their offensive line. Only Taylor Moton is guaranteed a starting berth at right tackle in 2022 and if those in power had any sense whatsoever, this should be the team’s top priority in free agency and the draft.
Much will depend on what veteran pieces Carolina can convince to come on board when the free-agent frenzy gets underway. But it might be worth the Panthers finding some long-term options if Brady Christensen and Deonte Brown don’t develop as expected.
Although he is going somewhat overlooked, Kellen Diesch is a name that NFL teams across the country should be watching with interest at the Scouting Combine. His production in 2021 was nothing short of exceptional and he could end up being a real steal for someone in the mid-rounds providing his step up to the next level goes smoothly.
He might not be the most experienced player entering the league this year. But Diesch has picked things up quickly thanks to an intriguing blend of size, athleticism, and technique well beyond his years.
Diesch’s footwork is top-notch and has the length Carolina clearly values in their edge protectors. If he bulks up slightly and improves from a run blocking standpoint, someone is going to have a real payer on their hands and the Panthers should be keeping a close eye on his drills in Indianapolis.
