4 perfect landing spots for Haason Reddick in 2022 free agency

Detroit Lions
This might not seem like a perfect landing spot from the outside looking in. But the Detroit Lions are primed for real progress in 2022 providing they make the most out of their cap space and a plethora of draft picks in the top-100.
The team’s record under new head coach Dan Campbell was nothing to brag about in 2021. However, they fought right until the end and displayed the right characteristics that could mean bigger and better things are to come in the not-too-distant future.
One area where the Lions struggled last season was taking down the quarterback. They averaged just 1.8 sacks a game and although they could select home state hero Aidan Hutchinson at No. 2 overall, signing someone like Haason Reddick in free agency would give their chances another significant shot in the arm.
Reddick proved quickly that his 2020 form was not a one-off. He was relentless for the Carolina Panthers in pass-rushing situations and was also better against the run than many projected despite what some might tell you.
The player has stated his intent to bulk up next season to around 250 pounds. That is a scary proposition and one that will only enhance his chances of getting a bumper payday in free agency.
It doesn’t appear as if that will be in Carolina, which should put the Lions on red alert.
