Carolina Panthers could target Emmanuel Ogbah

Emmanuel Ogbah has put up double-digit sack numbers in back-to-back seasons. Something that will add some extra dollars to his demands when it’s time for his representatives to begin negotiations if they haven’t already.

Last season he totaled 11 sacks for the Miami Dolphins and dominated in that defense. Ogbah has a knack for getting to the quarterback which the Carolina Panthers will need if Haason Reddick does end up leaving in free agency.

Ogbah concluded the 2021 campaign with 61 total pressures. Something that is good to see coming from your edge rusher and at 28 years old, the Oklahoma State product is still at the peak of his powers.

According to Spotrac, Ogbah’s market value is $10.1 million per season. He would be a little more expensive, but he’s worth every penny and certainly less than what Reddick is expected to command on the open market.

The sack totals and relentless motor are traits the Panthers will desperately be searching for. But the Dolphins do have the cap space to make him an enticing offer if they want to keep the edge defender.
