The rest

  • Brandon Zylstra, Andre Roberts, Charleston Rambo, C.J. Saunders, Ra’Shaun Henry, Andrew Parchment, Derek Wright, Talolo Limu-Jones.

There should be some competition for depth chart places lower down the pecking order in training camp given how many undrafted wide receivers were acquired by the Carolina Panthers. However, it’s hard to look at their chances with any sort of confidence given how deep the group is on paper.

Brandon Zylstra has the best chance of any lower down the pecking order. The former CFL star was a dependable presence on limited targets in the passing game in 2021, which could not be said of many others during a disappointing campaign.

Zylstra is never going to be a game-changing player at the position. But his reliability coupled with outstanding special teams production could see him win a roster spot once again.

Of the rest, there is some intrigue surrounding Charleston Rambo, who surprisingly didn’t hear his name called despite flashing for the Miami Hurricanes in 2021. Andrew Parchment also has potential and C.J. Saunders will fancy his chances after spending last season with the team.

If all else fails for some hopefuls looking to make their way in the league, they could earn positions on the Panthers’ practice squad, which is a foot in the door if nothing else.
