Which Carolina Panthers players could thrive under interim head coach Steve Wilks in Week 6 at the Los Angeles Rams?

The Carolina Panthers once again let down their defense with a sluggish offensive performance to the tune of a 37-15 drubbing by the San Fransico 49ers. A game that was never really close and the stands were redder than anything else.

What should we expect at this point?

Baker Mayfield has been nothing short of a disaster under center, Ben McAdoo is uninventive and predictable in his playcalling, and the team has been underprepared for every game this year. The Panthers are heading nowhere fast but to the No. 1 overall pick.

The calls to end Matt Rhule’s tenure finally came to fruition as the silence of Panthers fans at Bank of America Stadium this season became deafening. But it may be too late for this team to turn things around.

At this point tanking for the top pick in the upcoming draft and starting fresh from top to bottom may be the only chance for success. And things aren’t going to get any better in Week 6 as the Carolina visits the Los Angeles Rams.

The defending Super Bowl winners have a severe case of championship hangover this season and injuries have taken their toll, but this is no easy out for anyone. Let alone this Panthers squad.

There is talent at every position and the matchups are going to be a nightmare all day. But what Panthers have the chance to thrive under interim head coach Steve Wilks at SoFi Stadium on Sunday?
