Which prospects should Carolina Panthers fans keep an eye on during Monday night’s College Football Playoff National Championship?

Following Sunday’s loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Carolina Panthers were eliminated from playoff contention for the fourth consecutive season. While many fans were already in draft mode considering the team’s place and situation two months ago, others can officially join the party as the offseason begins following the conclusion of Week 18.

New Year’s Eve provided fans with the two best college football playoff games since the format’s birth in 2014. The TCU Horned Frogs, an underdog to the heavily favored Michigan Wolverines, pulled off the upset in impressive fashion to continue their cinderella story.

Georgia, on the other hand, narrowly defeated quarterback C.J. Stroud and the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Bulldogs, the favorite to win it all for the second year in a row, will have a chance to become the first repeat CFB champion in quite some time and the first in the playoff era.

This year’s national championship doesn’t offer a bevy of elite talent as we all saw in last year’s bout with first-rounders littered on both teams. However, there are still plenty of players that could be intriguing for Panthers fans looking for who could be the newest rookie on their favorite team.

There are plenty of names that you may have heard of from both teams when it comes to NFL Draft hype such as Horned Frogs wide receiver Quentin Johnston and Bulldogs cornerback Kelee Ringo. However, there are some potential prospects on both squads that could raise eyebrows in Carolina’s front office.

Without further ado, here are four draft prospects fans should keep a close eye on this Monday night.
