Deshaun Watson will be under center. He's not been overly complimentary about the Browns' fans who boo him at every turn. If the Panthers' defense can make him uncomfortable on home soil, that might be enough to get the crowd out of it as they voice their displeasure at the signal-caller.

This is a fascinating contest. The Panthers will have their hands full with running back Quinshon Judkins and a talented young defense, but they have more than enough to get the job done.
Carolina Panthers vs. Lions - Week 4
The final game before Carolina's early bye week will welcome the Detroit Lions to Bank of America Stadium for Sunday Night Football. The lights will be bright and the atmosphere will be electric, which shows how far the Panthers have come under this regime.
Detroit has a powerful offense that can put up points quickly. Jared Goff, Jahmyr Gibbs, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Sam LaPorta could all hurt the Panthers if they aren't ready. And in Penei Sewell, the Lions boast one of the league's best edge protectors.

Carolina has similar questions to answer, and Lincoln Financial Field is among the most challenging environments in the league. Bryce Young and the offense could struggle, but Ejiro Evero's defense can succeed if it plays on the front foot.

The Panthers should be fresh and raring to go coming off their early Week 5 bye. A grueling stretch awaits them for the rest of 2026, but they have a chance to lay down another marker within the division against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Tampa Bay has displayed some real frailties so far this season. They are 0-2 right now, and their shocking loss to the Cleveland Browns put them in a hole. With the Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, and Dallas Cowboys up next, things might get worse before they get better.
- Prediction: Win (4-2)
The Panthers can take advantage of this. And if they were to pile more misery on the Buccaneers, head coach Todd Bowles' hot seat will be scorching.
