Running Back: C

Christian McCaffrey ran for just 20 yards on eight carries and caught seven of his eight targets for 46 yards but with nine rushing yards on the second play from scrimmage, he was virtually non-existent despite being the only back to carry the football.

An early deficit led to offensive coordinator Norv Turner leaning more on the pass. That, coupled with a limited number of possessions didn’t allow the run game to really get going at all during the contest.

McCaffrey helped on the final drive to get the ball moving down field via the pass but overall it was a sub-par performance from the Panthers second-year back.
