Julius Peppers – DE

It wasn’t too long ago that defensive end Julius Peppers was tormenting opposing quarterbacks for the Panthers. A North Carolina native and future NFL Hall of Fame candidate, it shouldn’t be long before Peppers is enshrined among the greatest Panthers ever.

Playing a total of 10 years with Carolina over two different periods, Peppers may be one of the best ever to never win a Super Bowl. A member of four Panthers playoff teams, Peppers too was involved in the franchise’s first-ever Super Bowl appearance.

A nine-time Pro Bowl nominee and six-time All Pro throughout his career, Peppers also won the Defensive Rookie of the Year award after being selected No. 2 overall by Carolina in 2002. Fourth in all-time sacks (159.5) for the NFL and the franchise record holder, Peppers is a lock to join this prestigious club one day.
