Active Offensive Players

The only requirement for this long-awaited Hall of Honor expansion was that the individual “couldn’t be an active player in 2018,” according to David Monroe and reported by Scott Fowler of The Charlotte Observer.

The remainder of this list includes players who are currently active and one who was thought to have retired but elected to return.

On offense, center Ryan Kalil played 12 seasons with the black and blue. A five-time Pro Bowl nominee and twice an All Pro, Kalil was the anchor up front for the Panthers until announcing his retirement after last year. Coaxed out of his decision by the New York Jets, Kalil returned for 2019 but remains a likely candidate for the Panthers Hall of Honor one day.

Two current Panthers offensive stars who have also put together strong resumes include tight end Greg Olsen and quarterback Cam Newton. Both have made record breaking impacts with the franchise, enjoying an enormous amount of success together.

Olsen is the only tight end in NFL history to record three-consecutive 1,000 yard seasons and Newton remains the only Panthers player ever to win a league MVP award, in addition to numerous other accomplishments.
