When it comes to the defensive line of the Seattle Seahawks, they need to add a premium talent that can be a consistent tackler, get to the quarterback often, and is able to be a centerpiece on defense. This is where they draft such a player in defensive end Marlon Davidson of Auburn.

At 6-3 and 278lbs, Davidson is a great edge rusher that can do it all against the pass or run. He totaled 174 tackles, 14.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles in which he recovered all three. This is the old-school classic style of a pick for the Seahawks that screams dominance, something that has been missing over the last few years.

The Seahawks run a 4-3 defense as Davidson is the perfect fit for what they want to establish from here on out. Defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr. is going to love everything Davidson is capable of accomplishing once he gets in the trenches.

The Baltimore Ravens truly felt the loss of linebacker C.J. Mosley last season via free agency as they need to fill this area of need with someone who can reach similar potential. With the No. 28 overall pick, the Ravens boldly go with linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson out of LSU.

Chaisson was a big part of LSU’s National Championship run last season and will bring his game-changing abilities to the Ravens. He’s coming off a season in which he totaled 60 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and 19 tackles for loss. You’ll often find Chaisson running all over the field, ready to annihilate anyone holding the football as he’s so fast on the field when zoned in.

The intensity that Chaisson would bring to the Ravens’ defense will be exactly what this team needs to get more production out of the positional group. That Ravens’ pass rush is going to be scary this upcoming season.

At this point in time in this mock draft, defensive players are now flying off the board. The Tennessee Titans join the club and select defensive tackle Justin Madubuike out of Texas A&M. They need help on the interior part of their defensive line as Madubuike will bring some nice pass-rushing abilities to that aspect of the team.

Madubuike totaled 11 sacks in three years as an Aggie with a knack at pressuring quarterbacks into making mistakes his defense could capitalize on. He’ll join a defense that saw some pretty good results last season and be able to make it even better this time around.

The Titans’ overall defense wasn’t all that bad with the exception of having a better pass rush. Things could have been quite different last season if they were better in that category but now, with Madubuike here ready to do what he does best, the Titans will once again be a playoff team to keep an eye on in 2020.
