Carolina Panthers Pro Bowl possibility: D.J. Moore – WR
Many people are predicting wide receiver D.J. Moore to make further strides in 2020. The Carolina Panthers now have a more consistent quarterback throwing the football in Teddy Bridgewater. And this is something that is sure to benefit the passing game.
Moore gained his first 1,000-yard season last term despite the lack of productivity from the Panthers’ signal-callers. He has quickly become an indispensable member of the franchise and can now be considered the team’s undisputed No. 1 option.
The wideout’s ceiling is enormously high. Moore has refined his route running a significant amount over the last two years. This has resulted in him making a deep-ball difference in addition to the player’s ability to make catches on intermediate routes.
Another benefit that Moore will have in 2020 is the presence of Robby Anderson on the other side of the field. The free-agent acquisition is someone that also warrants considerable interest. And this might also work in his favor given the extra attention he will receive next season.
Offensive coordinator Joe Brady will quickly find out what Moore brings to the table during training camp. His task will be putting the player in the right positions to succeed and build on a tremendous campaign in 2019.
If Moore can take another leap forward. It will put him among the best players at the position and should see his Pro Bowl claims become increasingly difficult to overlook.
