The Patriots lost their most iconic player of all-time in Tom Brady. But if anyone can come in and fill the void, it would be Newton.

The player has an aura about him that commands respect. And just having him within the Patriots’ locker room is going to be a significant morale boost for everyone.
This might be another masterstroke from Bill Belichick, who recently lost a third-round draft picked and was fined $1.1 million for yet more inappropriate use of cameras to get an edge.
The Patriots aren’t exactly the most loved team in the NFL thanks to things like this. And there were plenty of fans across the country looking forward to them going through some struggles in 2020.
That might not be the case after they pulled the trigger on Newton. The player has enjoyed some phenomenal success throughout his career. And there will be plenty of Patriots that are going to benefit significantly from his presence under center.
The likes of N’Keal Harry, Mohamed Sanu, and Julian Edelman will get a new lease of life with such a prolific quarterback distributing the ball. But the entire roster is going to benefit from someone that has seen it all in the NFL.
Newton’s leadership has been an underrated part of his overall influence. And this is another huge factor to consider as to why he will thrive in New England.
